How do you put your hair in a bun like my avatar?

oh i always try to do that, i have curly hair. ppl say its nice and all but i really dont like it so i usually straight my hair and leave it for about 2 days and when im going to go take a shower. i usually put it up and whil tieing it up i find myself puttin my hair in a bun,

its almost like putting it up in a pony tail, but on the second time you go to pull it through dont pull it all the way and mess it up a bit and wrap it around while messing it up each time, untill you cant wrap it around any more, if your not happy with it, jsut take it out and do it again.
Reply:You scrunch up your hair and then hold it like that while you secure it with a hair tie. Let the pieces hang to get that look.
Reply:well this works on mine, but i have naturally straight hair, but i just put it up as soon as i%26#039;ve had a shower, but messy, then i blow dry the bun. sounds weird but works with mine.

Reply:burntwat.... answer about the ponytail is one good way I do it. Also try: gather your hair like you are going to put it in a ponytail, but instead, start twisting it with your right hand, while you keep it secure with your left hand. When it%26#039;s tight, take the end with your left hand and bring it up just above where the ponytail would have been. Bringing it back towards the head will make the tight twist bend and twist together, then you can secure the bottom with a ponytail holder, or use a hair clip.
