no secret really. all you do is just keep the ends trimmed up nice and neat, no split ends and it%26#039;ll grow.

I was thinking about a chin length bob. I am considering going even shorter than that though. My hair has never been any shorter than my chin. So this will be a big deal for me to go any shorter. but it looks lighter %26amp;%26amp; has a red tint in the sun...

i brush my hair alot and the right way, i use sportin waves, and i use a wave cap. my hair just gets really curly every time i try to get waves. my dad is african american and my mom is mixed half black-half spanish(panamanian). why cant i get waves?do i have the right hair?

try a Johnson%26amp;Johnson product(i know its for babies but i still use it..lolzz)
use a conditioner spray too if you use it each day it realy helps

Hair Straightening?
I got my hair chemically straightened and it came out great, but now the roots grew in but I can%26#039;t get them done because I can%26#039;t find a job so I have no money. My once straight hair turned wavy?
When I was younger and up through high school I had very straight hair, never had to use a flat iron. I used to wear my hair long about waist length then I cut my hair to shoulder length and begin using a flat iron to make it even straighter. When i entered college I didn%26#039;t have time to flat iron my hair so I started %26quot;scrunching%26quot; my hair w/ gel...now i don%26#039;t do anything to my hair just wash and condition, air dry and go but it%26#039;s become wavy not straight...what happened? did I damage my hair? is it just genes? can I get it to go straight again w/o using a flat iron??

Reply:When i was a baby i had natural curl hair like miley cyrus. I still have a little piece that are curly that i have to straighten. Put Then i got naturaly straight hair and now naturaly wavy. It is not genes and you did not damage it.When you cut it or grow it long it some how changes. I cant tell you why but it does.It seems when you have short hair it is curly and when you have long hair it turns wavy and if you have very long hair it is straight. This might not be true for all people but I say grow it out and it will go back to naturaly straight hair. Le classique said embrass the beachy look gurl. Work your hair and make the gurls jealous! I never dyed,scrunch, but i do use flat irons,curling iron all those! I think it is the heat that damaged it. Heat can kill the skin cells faster and then make it change. All cells are different.It might be genes if your parents had curly hair then yes maybe.

Don%26#039;t worry, it%26#039;s not damage. My hair does that, too. If you do your hair a certain way, your hair will start to catch on and follow the trend. It could be partially genes. But also, when your hair is longer, there is more weight to pull it straight. When it%26#039;s short, there is less weight... so then it can... curl.. or... bounce, ya know?
If you%26#039;re looking to straighten everyday, put in some serum or spray, blow-dry while dragging your fingers through however you like it styled in the end(part-wise). Then straighten. My hair is the same length as yours and I made sure to get a good hair cut. Get some shorter layers and thinned out a bit with even shorter layers(razored) underneath for added volume. It takes me 20 minutes to blow dry and straighten my hair. But you do have wavy hair... so celebrate it! You can go curly quite easily too... just by using your straightener! Also, you can add the odd bit of wave with your straightener and it makes it look like your hair naturally does that. Plus, it%26#039;s a great summer look. I haven%26#039;t totally mastered that one yet, but my friend has and her hair always looks amazing. Good luck, hun!

It is not genes and you did not damage it.When you cut it or grow it long it some how changes. I cant tell you why but it does.It seems when you have short hair it is curly and when you have long hair it turns wavy and if you have very long hair it is straight. This might not be true for all people but I say grow it out and it will go back to naturaly straight hair. Le classique said embrass the beachy look gurl. Work your hair and make the gurls jealous! I never dyed,scrunch, but i do use flat irons,curling iron all those! I think it is the heat that damaged it. Heat can kill the skin cells faster and then make it change. All cells are different.It might be genes if your parents had curly hair then yes maybe.

Don%26#039;t worry, it%26#039;s not damage. My hair does that, too. If you do your hair a certain way, your hair will start to catch on and follow the trend. It could be partially genes. But also, when your hair is longer, there is more weight to pull it straight. When it%26#039;s short, there is less weight... so then it can... curl.. or... bounce, ya know?
If you%26#039;re looking to straighten everyday, put in some serum or spray, blow-dry while dragging your fingers through however you like it styled in the end(part-wise). Then straighten. My hair is the same length as yours and I made sure to get a good hair cut. Get some shorter layers and thinned out a bit with even shorter layers(razored) underneath for added volume. It takes me 20 minutes to blow dry and straighten my hair. But you do have wavy hair... so celebrate it! You can go curly quite easily too... just by using your straightener! Also, you can add the odd bit of wave with your straightener and it makes it look like your hair naturally does that. Plus, it%26#039;s a great summer look. I haven%26#039;t totally mastered that one yet, but my friend has and her hair always looks amazing. Good luck, hun!

Reply:I have straight hair, but only when its long and hasnt got any layers - so it sounds abit like urs, i have to straighten mine now i have layers too, I never liked straightening shampoos bcoz they never made loads of difference and i found i was sacrificing on other things like how well it cleaned my hair, how well it nourished it etc, etc, so my hair would always look dull and id end up straightening it anway!... i find Tresemme repair shampoo is the best to use, i dont know whether ur in the UK or US.. so you might not be able to get it (i live in the uk), although it doesnt straighten ur hair, bcoz it leaves it so strong its like 10x easier to straighten, looks better when u have done, and lasts longer too... maybe give it a go? cheers x

2) then part only over your bangs (or what are suppose to be your bangs)
3) then take a little bit on then hair from the middle and brush it untill theres no lumps.
4) Put the poof down then scoot it forward untill it%26#039;s to the right size poof you want
5) clip it down =]

i use leave in conditioner called sunsilk summer hair, i spray it in my hair after i get out of the pool and lay out to tan. my hair is soft, definitely healthier than last summer when i didn%26#039;t have this. i would also recommend using aussi deep conditioner once a week in the shower.

Reply:I%26#039;m not a professional or anything, just a frequent hair-dye user. =) But generally the darker your hair is the longer it can take to go lighter, however I used garnier nutrisses hair lightening/bleach thing to lift my color in december, and I can%26#039;t remember for sure but i%26#039;m pretty sure I left it for the time it said on the instructions rather than going for much longer (mainly cause it was my first time bleaching my hair at home and I was afraid i%26#039;d fry my hair or turn it green, haha) But my hair was also a medium brown at the time when I did it.
Just keep in mind, obviously, that using stuff like this can damage your hair a lot, especially if your hair is already chemically treated, and also for the record if you wanna have blondish hair you should consider getting a toner to go with the lightening stuff. Because since your hair is brown it%26#039;s most likely gonna go an orangey color depending on your hair, (it%26#039;s rare that hair actually goes from brown to blonde by JUST using a lightening kit) so it%26#039;s probably a good idea to have a toner of some sort (I personally used l%26#039;oreals casting creme gloss) to try and get it more the shade you want it to be. Just keep in mind it should be some sort of toner in that case since you%26#039;re not supposed to use proper hair-dye right after bleaching it. This is naturally up to you and I can%26#039;t guarantee your results etc but this was my experience with it anyways. And also I was at the time aiming for a strawberry type blonde which is what I got by using the lightening thing and the toner combined. I hope it helps, let me know if you wanna know more or something. =)

i have dirty blonde hair with some strawberry tint to it (doesnt really show), and %26quot;side bangs%26quot; although they are quite long already...anyways, my hair really only has one look. my hair is pin straight, except for some baby curls under it. i hate those baby curls. any way to get them straight without straightening them everyday? also, i want a new look. Most high-end lines are %26#039;high-end%26#039; for a reason; they work.
I have used drugstore brands and I don%26#039;t like any of the three you mentioned. I think Pantene is the best drugstore brand.
I would use their line for curly hair if you want some waves.

I have used drugstore brands and I don%26#039;t like any of the three you mentioned. I think Pantene is the best drugstore brand.
I would use their line for curly hair if you want some waves.

Okay I want to dye my hair a nice enchanting colour, For grad, which is coming up very very soon. ( I need to impress my girlfreinds parents, they dont supposibly love me so much), Im not in the mood to cut my hair, I leave the same length, but if you really think I need a haircut, shoot.

When i straighten it in the winter its fine.
but due to the heat now it just get poofy frizzy, and crinkly again.
I try defrizzer, heat protecter, and sometimes hairspray. still doesnt help.
and last year i even tried those do it at home chemical relaxers for your hair... didnt work..
have any of you guys gotten that done at a salon does it acctually work?

Reply:You can go to a salon and get your hair straight for 6 months but it cost $250.oo dollars. SO you can change it but it does cost you. Use some moisturizing shampoos and conditioners those help a little. Put some sea salt in your hair and it will bring down the frizz. I know that sounds weird and you might not think it works but it does. You can even mix it in your shampoo (put alot in like a bottle and a half). WORKS SO NICE IN YOUR HAIR!!! I live in flordia the worse place to live.

oh i always try to do that, i have curly hair. ppl say its nice and all but i really dont like it so i usually straight my hair and leave it for about 2 days and when im going to go take a shower. i usually put it up and whil tieing it up i find myself puttin my hair in a bun,

its almost like putting it up in a pony tail, but on the second time you go to pull it through dont pull it all the way and mess it up a bit and wrap it around while messing it up each time, untill you cant wrap it around any more, if your not happy with it, jsut take it out and do it again.

I%26#039;m 14 and am wondering if i should trim my pubes. I don%26#039;t have a gf or anything but i think it looks ugly because its about 2 inches long and sometimes is really uncomfortable.
